Maddie in one of her halloween outfits today. She is growing up too fast. I look at these pictures and I can't believe how big she has gotten.

Big Girl Bed

We bought Maddie new furniture including a big girl bed. Not that she has tried to climb out of the crib...it's just that we need the crib for Jack. Jack is getting too big for the bassinet. We had the movers put the crib in Jack's room so we wouldn't have to take it apart once more. So Maddie has been sleeping/napping in his room. We have started by napping in the new bed--today was her 2nd day.

Maddie's room...it is the only bedroom that I have painted. I found a quilt that had most of the colors from her nursery so I was able to reuse a lot of the same things. Yes-that's a bathing suit on the bed. I promised swimming after her nap since it is still in the 90s here.

Pool

Our new house has a pool and spa. Everyday Maddie wants to put her 'suit' on and go in the pool. She never wants to get out. Good thing it has a heater so we can enjoy it longer.

2 month check-up

Jackson had his 2 month check-up today. We have a big but proportional boy. Jack weighed 14 pounds 9 ounces and is 25 inches. Poor little guy also had to get 4 shots but did well.

Opening Night

Saturday was opening night for the Coyotes. We, of course, had to go. It was a good game with the Coyotes winning 3-1.

Maddie's favorite thing at the games is Howler, the mascot.
Jack was awake for part of the 1st period. We have all waited a long time for our first NHL game...Jack goes at 2 months.
Saturday was also John's 31st birthday. If you look close you can see him in the tunnel.

Maddie loves her brother. She always tries to pick him up and wants to hold him. We have to remind her that she isn't quite big enough for that yet.

Hello Phoenix

We have finally closed on our house in Phoenix. Lots of boxes to unpack. Now that we are somewhat settled and my laptop is working again hopefully updates on the blog won't take so long. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

We made it to 1 preseason hockey game. Maddie was so excited when we walked into the rink...it's been awhile since our last game.

The state capital...I had to go downtown to the capital my first day in Phoenix to pick up my Arizona pharmacist license. I figured since I took a week of vacation after maternity leave to move that I would take some pictures...everyone needs some vacation photos.

One last picture in front of their first house before we got in the car to drive all night. They were great on the trip.
Madison was so dirty after the movers had been at the house all day. She was in and outside so many times. As soon as everything was "all gone & packed" (as Maddie says), I put her in the sink for one last bath.
