Closed Curtain

This isn't the most fascinating picture--a closed window curtain during dance class. What it means is that Maddie has started learning her recital dance. Ms. Lisa closes the curtain while they practice their dance so it can be fun for the parents also. I have asked Maddie to show me her recital dance...she tells me it's a surprise. Guess I will have to wait until June to see it. Until then, the only thing I know is they are doing ballet and it's to a different version of "You are my Sunshine."

4th Birthday Pictures

Maddie finally had her birthday pictures taken today!

I only took one outfit, which is a first for me.

Seriously...is it only a year and a half until she starts school?!

The Little Guy

Multi-Sport Class: Soccer

Jackson and I (since I have to participate with him) started a sports class today. It's 2 weeks of each sport (soccer, football, baseball, and basketball). Our first sport is soccer and we learned soccer stops, to rock and roll the ball, and practiced our kicks! We're going back next week to learn more!

4 year check up

Maddie went for her 4 year old check up yesterday. We had to get 3 shots...which she did not like. But now we don't need any more before starting school!

height - almost 40 inches

weight - 35 pounds

(right around the 50% in both)

Just as a comparison--I measured Jack yesterday.

He is around 37 inches and approximately 32 pounds.

Just a few inches and pounds separates that 19 month difference!

Birthday Party

We had some friends over for a little birthday party for Maddie on Friday night.

Birthday Week

Maddie turned 4 on Sunday! I had to work that day and the Coyotes were playing out of town, so we turned it into a birthday week (just like Aunt Jill has!) and slowly opened our presents and celebrated all week.

Maddie got a manicure set and a doll that you can do her hair.
