The kids and I went up to see Mim. On Friday, we took the 9am ferry to Mackinac Island. This ferry goes under the bridge on the way to the island. It's neat to see it up close. We rented bikes (there are no cars on the island…just bikes and horses) on the island and rode around for about 1 & 1/2 hours. Stopped to see some landmarks, had lunch and caught the ferry back. Next year the goal is to ride the 8 miles around the island.

Saturday, we made a quick trip to Mackinaw City for lunch. I had to take their picture in front of the bridge…it's a tradition every time we go up.
