thanksgiving {2014}

John was on the road for Thanksgiving but we headed to Paul & Sandy's to eat and play with family.

Maddie and Jack are back at cross ice.  I was finally off work to take them to practice.

snow day {#3}

Today was snow day #3...

{ruffles}

I taught Maddie how to sew crepe paper ruffles today.  It was her first time using my sewing machine.  She did a great job!!  I think she liked it…she did the entire roll.

in/out {then repeat}

Sparky loves it outside…he sits by the door and whines to go out.

 It's usually me calling him back it because I think it's too cold for him to stay out too long.  The not so exciting bonus…wet floors!

first {snow} day

The text came early this morning…school is closed!  Really…it's early to be starting with snow days.  We made the best of it...

 (they said this was a new kind of sledding)

Hopefully it's back to school tomorrow!!

sparky's {first snow}

Sparky got his first real experience with snow!  He wasn't to keen on going out first thing this morning. As the day went on, he began to love it!

 Then the kids came home...

After playing outside with the kids for over an hour, he was covered in snow balls!
