road trip {day 10-on the road}

We spent all day…about 16 hours in the car driving home.

road trip {day 9-starting home}

We were up and on the road around 7am to head home.  We headed to Uncle Ron's in South Carolina to visit and spend the night.

We made it to Uncle Ron's.  The kids enjoyed root beer sitting on the golf cart.  We had a golf cart tour of his huge neighborhood and all went out to dinner.

I told Madison I wanted a picture of her shirt…it was my first attempt at sewing an appliqué and I thought I did a good job.  This is what I got...

Because it wouldn't be a trip to Disney without a cute outfit for every day there…at least for this momma!

road trip {day 8-hollywood studios}

In the afternoon we explored Hollywood Studios for a couple hours.

 Finally we went to Downtown Disney to grab a couple more souvenirs.

The kids talked me into a couple of hours at the pool this morning…heading back to Disney in the afternoon.

road trip {day 7-nasa}

There are no pics of day 6…we spent the entire day at the resort pool.  We hung out from 9 am to 4 pm and I have the sunburn to prove it!

John had meetings and the exhibit hall most of the day so the kids and I went to Kennedy Space Center…some education on our vacation.

 After checking out the Atlantis, we rode a simulator of a launch.  After being scared of getting on, Jack ended up loving the simulator.

We briefly looked at the rocket garden due to those dark clouds.  Just made it to the car before it poured!
