Saturday Fun

Once again, we took advantage of the great weather and went to the park.

Maddie just had to wear her 'spinning skirt' to the park.

Playoffs-Game 2

Maddie and I went to Game 2 tonight and cheered on the Coyotes.

Didn't quite go the way we hoped as the Red Wings won.

Daddy got some time on the bench...and from what I hear some TV time too! Fun for us but it also means someone got hurt.

On to Game 3.

Playoffs-Game 1

Last night was game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs!

It ended with a 3-2 Coyote victory over the Red Wings!

Game 2 is Friday night.
An after game ritual (and on our way in)---we have to stop to see if we can spot daddy's car down below.

Mim's birthday

Today, Mim turned 4...as Maddie would tell you!! The kids and I made Mim a cake to enjoy yesterday while we all were home. Around here you have to 'share' your birthday with Maddie...blowing out the candles is no exception.

Home Ice

Maddie and I went to the last regular season home hockey game tonight.

The reason we go early...to see daddy during warm-ups.

the entire game with her new friend, Travis!

Coyotes win 5-2!!

And secure home ice for the 1st round of the play-offs!!

Play-off hockey starts next week.

Opening Day 2010

We celebrated opening day (yesterday) cheering for the Tigers!

Maddie was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come
she didn't even wait on Jack to get down the stairs.
She just dumped everything out!

Jack finally made his way down the stairs...found 2 eggs on his way.

We warmed up the hot tub a little today and played!
(gotta love a little toddler belly!!)

After playing outside, I came inside to start getting dinner ready. John and I then noticed there were waves in the pool and water splashing out. Thinking something fell into the pool, John went to check. After a few texts with local friends, CNN confirmed that we felt the earthquake. A first for all of us!
