Still Swimming

Maddie and I went to the kids faire yesterday. We planted some seeds and visited the princess area. We also saw lots of characters, but Dora was only one she wanted/would get her picture taken with.

Preseason Hockey

Friday, we went to our first preseason hockey game of the year. Don't think I saw more than 5 minutes of the game due to 2 busy kids! Good thing the horn blows when we score.

A chair of my own...

Since we have finished traveling for the summer, I finally ordered Jack's chair for his birthday.

Definitely can tell from this picture that Maddie (and Jack) have used Maddie's chair alot. Now that they both have one, I sure there will no more fighting about who is sitting where. (I'm sure that's just wishful thinking!)

Our First Pet

We got our first "pet" last week...a beta fish.

Maddie has named it 'Mr. Fishy'
It is so cute to hear her come dowstairs in the morning and say "Good Morning, Mr. Fishy."
