We got Maddie a hockey stick yesterday at the fan shop...she has been carrying it around all morning. I found a puck around the house for her to play with also. All she needs now is for Daddy to teach her to skate. I'm not a great skater so that will definitely be John's job.

Goats, Zebras, Elephants...Oh My!!
We took Maddie on her first trip to the zoo yesterday. We had some quality time with Daddy since it was his last day in town before going on another road trip.

Children's Museum
We went to the Children's Museum today to play. We brought Grammy and Grampy along to join in the fun. This was our first trip there. Maddie had lots of fun checking everything out.

Also a couple of updates with us...I turned the big 3-0 last Friday. John took me out for a great dinner at the Melting Pot on Saturday. We are both now 30. John and the hockey team have started the "rodeo road trip." This year they left early but get to come home for a couple of days during the month for all star break. Definitely a hectic time at our house.

Big Helper
We went to Wal-Mart to get some things for dinner tonight. Maddie was a big help taking groceries out of the bags I could put them away. All of a sudden she started hauling the bags off. The chips might be slightly broken now but it was too funny watching her haul bags twice her size.

My How Time Flies
It's hard to believe that just 1 short year ago Madison Paige entered our world. It is amazing how much they grow and change in that short amount of time. We started out with this little baby and now have a toddler. Madison is now walking all the time. She has 6 teeth, 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom...just keep your hands away from the mouth or you might get a little bite. She charms us everyday with her great personality. We have enjoyed every minute of this past year and look forward to her next.
