Maddie and I played outside this morning and enjoyed the beautiful weather. She has a little cold right now so we are dealing with that. Hockey season is in full swing and Daddy is home for a couple of days before he leaves for the next road trip. It is hard to believe October is almost over...soon Grandma and the Steakley's will be coming to visit.
The lady that checked us out at HEB today gave Maddie a balloon. She liked holding the ribbon...if only she knew that there was a lollipop at the other end I'm sure she would have been upset when I took it away.
Madison got some great gifts from the Steakley's for Halloween. No tricks...just all treats for little girl. She is enjoying playing with the big box of clothes. Pretty soon she will have more clothes out of the box than in it. Thanks guys...we love everything.

We played outside yesterday in the water. Maddie was fascinated by all the little sprinklers.
I got a new car yesterday...a Lincoln MKX. We love it so far. I'm still trying to figure out how everything works and Maddie likes the bigger back seat.
I had Maddie's 9 month/fall pictures taken this afternoon. We got some really cute shots. We didn't buy the first 2 pictures but I thought they were very cute. Of course Maddie had to try to eat the apples...

Maddie turned 9 months old yesterday. We had her check-up with the doctor today. She weighs 20.2 pounds and is 28 inches long...right on track. Dr. said she will probably be walking in the next few weeks. No shots were scheduled but we opted for a flu vaccine so Maddie got 1 little stick.
