6 Months Pictures

We had Maddie's 6 month pictures taken today since I am off today and John is in town. Just a couple days early. We go to the doctor on Tuesday for Maddie's 6 month check-up.

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day!! It has been pretty calm around here today for John's first father's day. John leaves for Vegas today for a few days with the boys then onto Phoenix for a work conference.

Daddy and Maddie
Maddie outgrew all of her "daddy's little girl" & "I love Daddy" shirts, so I made her a " I heart Daddy" shirt last night to wear today.

Swimming

We got a little pool for the backyard today. Maddie can touch the bottom while in the float, so she actually walks along the bottom of the pool.

Lost Lagoon

We went to Sea World again this week. This time we visited Lost Lagoon, the water park at Sea World. It was Maddie's first time swimming. She seemed to enjoy it...no crying or tears. It's nice to be able to go for 1 hr and then come home. I'm sure there will be many more swimming trips this summer.

Corpus Christi

We took a quick day trip to Corpus today. We visited the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington. We bypassed the beach this trip since it was very hot today. It was nice to get out and visit different parts of Texas.

5 months old

Maddie is 5 months old today. Time sure does fly by. As you can see we love to play with (tear up) paper. Grammy clued us into waxed paper as it still makes noise but doesn't tear as easily so we usually get that instead of paper. Maddie just couldn't resist the temptation of wading it up and trying to eat it today.
