1st dentist visit

Jack had his very 1st dentist visit today and saw Dr. Goodman. He did much better than I had expected. I don't really think he was ready to leave...too much fun to be had there!

On the other hand, I heard what I was expecting to hear...another kid will eventually be going to the orthodontist. His mouth is total opposite from Maddie's mouth.

Rockettes

Maddie and I had some special time together Thursday

and went to see the Rockettes!

Maddie's favorite part was seeing Santa and the teddy bears dancing. I enjoyed the entire show. Definitely something we would do again.

The boys had their time too...I hear it consisted of some hockey and games at Dave & Busters. I believe it as we are the proud owners of a stuffed turtle about the size of Jack....which apparently was won on the first try!! Now we fight over who gets to sleep with it...

gingerbread

The kids and I decorated a gingerbread house Thanksgiving weekend.

Not so bad for our first attempt...next year I think we will go a little bigger!

John came home from work right after nap with....

hockey skates!!!

Someone was a little excited!!

Next stop....ice rink!

There are sticks and pucks all over our house every day. No toys are safe from Jack's slap shot! His new obsession is skating...tonight it was the blocks as skates, the other night it was some bowls. He skated all over, forwards and backwards, in these blocks. Guess some new skates and a trip to the rink are in our near future.
