Jack's Crawling

It's official--Jack is crawling and all over the house!! Today we were in the kitchen, Jack decided to take a short cut thru the end table...

He made it most of the way thru before he had to be rescued.

Boo Boos

For some reason Maddie has been accident prone lately. She bumped into Mim's fingernail the other day so she has a scratch under her eye. Today she woke up from her nap and ran into the doorway (we think) and has a bump and cut on her forehead. She has such great timing...school pictures are tomorrow!!!

My dad left today to go back home to the Soo. We will definitely miss 'P'!!

Hockey Game

It's been over a month since we have made it to a hockey game. Maddie was so excited to go. It ended with a win for the Coyotes!!

The guys wore green St. Patty's Day jerseys for warm-ups.

Howler came to our section...Maddie was so happy.

I attempted to get the kids picture together today...as you can see it didn't happen. Neither one was still at the same time. Maybe next year!

Maddie had a follow-up visit at the Dr today for an ear infection that we have been dealing with for over a month. After 3 antibiotics, we found out it still hasn't gone away. So today Maddie had to get a shot of antibiotics. She did really well! We have a follow-up appointment in the morning to see if it is working.

I carried this little purse to Garth Brooks to other day instead of the usual diaper bag. Maddie decided she was taking it to the dr office today. She loaded it up with a capri sun, pictures, and a dollar!!

(We now apparently have a little stomach bug in our house. Maddie woke up throwing up yesterday morning, tonight I just got home from the game for Jack to throw up. Can't wait for all the sickness to be done!!!!)

Garth Brooks

John and I got to meet Garth Brooks today and enjoy a private concert where he told of his musical influences and sang. It was really neat to hear about how he got into the business. We were able to have this great experience thanks to the Phoenix Coyotes hockey players. The entire team pledged support to Garth's foundation, 'Teammates for Kids'. Their donations are then tripled and 100% of the money goes to kids!!

We didn't quite make it for 6 months pictures since Maddie and Jack have been sick for most of the month. We finally got to take pictures today!!!

Bath Time

Jack had his first bath outside the baby tub tonight. I let him play in the big tub with a little water. Maddie, of course, appeared with all her clothes off and had to join in the fun!!

Jackson loves it outside. We put some of the foam mats on the patio so he could play outside, but Jack would rather scoot and pull the grass out of the cracks and play with rocks.

Crazy Socks

For National Reading Day they read Fox in Socks at school and wore crazy socks today. Maddie was so excited to wear her zebra socks.
