Disneyland Parade

I really wanted to go to the parade at Disneyland. So after nap time we headed to Downtown Disney and had dinner at ESPN Zone and then rode the monorail into Disneyland for the parade.

After the parade we went to catch the monorail back to Downtown Disney to get the car. We were told it was down due to "technical difficulties" and that they "hoped" it would be running by the time the park closed. We decided to go back to the main entrance and just walk back thru Downtown Disney. We ended up doing a little more souvenir shopping and enjoyed the great night.

Day 3-California Adventure

Wednesday we went to California Adventure. Maddie had a little fever...she is cutting more teeth so we didn't hang out there all day. We checked everything out and headed back to the hotel for an extended nap time.

We saw California Mickey and Minnie. Maddie got a little braver around the characters. She even kissed Mickey and Minnie on the nose before we left.
John wanted to ride the Grizzly River Run rapids ride so we did that first thing since Maddie was a little crabby. He got "slightly" wet, but said it was fun.

We spent some time in Bugs Land with Maddie. We all rode a couple of rides including the one in the picture above and a mini train ride.

Day 2- Angels/Tigers Baseball...again

The Tigers lost again. They won game 3 of the series on Wednesday night when we didn't go. Oh-well...Daddy's just happy Maddie's first real baseball game was seeing the Tigers.

Day 2-Disneyland

We headed back to Disneyland on Tuesday to see the rest of the park. It was warmer outside, a beautiful day.

We got Maddie mouse ears on Monday. This is her trying on the ears in the hotel room before we left for the park.

We saw Eeyore, Tigger, and Pooh in Critter Country. We did get our picture with all three (and autographs). The park photo people took our picture with Pooh and Eeyore. I have one with Tigger but after trying 5 times to upload it and it not working I give up :(

We bypassed the carousel on Monday and rode it on Tuesday. Must of been a good plan since as soon as we got in line Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto started riding the carousel. Minnie's 'handler' thought Maddie's outfit was cute so Minnie got off her bench behind us and posed with Maddie during the ride. Lucky us...

On the way out of the park we spotted Donald...had to get a picture with him also.

Day 1-Angels/Tigers Game

We also went to a baseball game Monday. It was Maddie's first Tigers game. I wasn't really good at getting pictures. It was a last minute decision for Maddie and I to go with John. She did really good for getting up super early and only having a couple of little naps.

The game went 12 innings...no one could score. I took this picture then we went up and stood til the middle of the 12th inning then left. The game ended just after we got in the car with the Angels winning with a walk off-walk. We head back to the ballpark tomorrow...Let's go Tigers!!!

Day 1-Disneyland

We spent most of Monday in Toontown. Maddie knows these characters the most. Maddie calls Mickey and Minnie, "mouse."

Off to California

We left Texas very early yesterday morning for California. Plans include a couple of visits to Disneyland and a couple of Tigers games (for Daddy).

These pictures are a couple days late, but we played outside in the water the other day. Maddie LOVES it outside and wants to go all the time.

Maddie was a big helper with watering the flowers. She did this atleast 20 times between all the plants.

Check-Up Time

Maddie had her 15-18 month check-up today. She is 31 inches and 22 pounds 4 ounces...pretty much average.
This was after seeing the Dr but before she got 3 shots. Dr. did give her 5 lollipops to make up for it. (She did not get to eat them all.)

I heard noises from behind the couch this morning...apparently taking her shoes out of the basket wasn't enough. Maddie had climbed in the basket.

We all went to Sea World today...after we all had nap time. We had some friends over for a BBQ last night so after a late night we all needed the nap.

My mom, Maddie and I went to the bathroom and this is what we found when we came out. Earlier when Maddie wanted a stuffed animal, I told her that Daddy wouldn't just buy her one...knowing him, he would have to try to win one. He says he won it on the first throw. He definitely got lots of looks carrying it out of the park.
